Welcome — I’m Catherine
This is a place where you can restore your inner peace and dive deeper into the yogic practice.
Yoga meets you where you are. Some of my students come to strengthen and refine their physical practice, others to find calm and clarity of mind, and some to support healing from injuries.
I help you get strong, physically and mentally, so you can experience more joy, connection, and love in your life.
💛
Yoga is my life and I’d love to share this wonderful practice with you.
I was introduced to meditation early in life, exploring Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana, Buddhist practices, and other meditation and mindfulness techniques. From the start, I felt a deep connection to the mystical and spiritual path.
In 1996, I discovered Ashtanga Yoga — a practice that has been part of my life ever since. I immersed myself in asana, yoga philosophy, and pranayama, and soon began teaching in Zurich for my teacher.
Back then, yoga knowledge wasn’t packaged into teacher trainings as it is today. Instead, I gathered knowledge piece by piece, from many teachers from many different sources and people.
My first journey to Mysore in 2005 was a life-changing year. I had the privilege of studying with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois† and Sharath Jois†, and I returned year after year to continue learning and deepening my practice. It was in Mysore that I also met my husband, and in 2007 I moved to London to be with him. A few years later, I opened my own yoga studio until the pandemic brought it to a close.
My curiosity for learning kept expanding. In 2013, I began my studies in Yoga Therapy with Yoga Campus, becoming a recognised therapist (CNHC, IAYT). Later, I completed my Master’s degree in The Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS, University of London, diving into the philosophies of Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Daoism.
My background also includes extensive training in anatomy, mindfulness, and meditation, which I integrate into my teaching and therapeutic work.
